Did a little "urban off roading" a few weekends ago and I bent my rear bumper bracket. When I took it off, the bolts that attach to the plastic bumper wouldn't unbolt and I can't get them out of the bracket. I can't find those bolts anywhere, not sure if I ripped something out of the plastic bumper that shouldn't have come out. I can't find the part anywhere.... Anyone have any advice or know the part?? TIA!

 

there are nuts that are pressed into the plastic and it is common from them to spin freely. if you can get a screw driver behind the bracket you might be able to hold the nut while turning the bolt or you can just butcher the bumper and get to them.

 

So if I butcher the bumper (which I have!) can I replace those nuts or is there some other "fix" I can do to attach a new bracket?

 

If you were in NJ I'd give you my rear bumper. You should check Craigslist. People sell stock bumper cheap.
