Or-fab!

Depending on what you want, prices range from about $400 to about $800 for the front. Super beefy, easy install, well constructed, and made in the U.S.A.

Tons of options from stubby to full width. Love my full width, it's a beast!

LOL!!! You're going to love this then. I bought the AEV front and didn't like the AEV rear, so I'm planning on getting the 10A you like so much.

I got the AEV front before the 10A came out, I likely would have gone for the 10A front if it was available then. It is a pretty cool bumper where the end caps can be taken off to make it a stubby. It's like a Wrangler, it's a swiss army knife of front bumpers.

For bumpers I like WARN. Nice full width coverage, and more cost effective than others in its category. I like full width bumpers more than the stubby look.

Default Bumper Rant

In my rant, I did not make myself clear enough. One of the issues that bother me is what is being charged for these bumpers. Granted, they purposely build the Jeep with plastic bumpers, literally forcing us to replace them. Damaged or not. It is just that for a metal bumper, the charge is so much that the companies are literally stealing with their prices. Example: mopar basic Rock bumper, non winch back in 2010 was $565.00 to purchase. Now, it is close to $1100.00 if you could find it.
I guess my Rant and frustration involves the MSRP.$ of these bumpers.......

Default yeh like every thing

They target the consumer on anything that they know interests large groups for financial gains . Like all sports and equipment.

but they have costs as well , Think of all it cost the manufacture employees , designer, equipment , taxes, insurances , marketing, etc... Try and make your own steel bumper ! Bet Its not so easy . and in most cases they dont even look as good.
Hey stay stock ,lots of people stay stock and have very little interest in modding their jeep , its just a automobile to them and just gets them from point a to point b only and a loosing investment

Autos are poor investments but the alternatives arnt so great!
I guess this is the bottom line> (Many people see an automobile as a social status symbol, but is the luxury component of an automobile worth the investment dollars? ) Then Add in your mods list costs !

Forbes Welcome
Took all you said into consideration. But just how much of a mark up do you think they are working on? That is part of my point. I was brought up that it is against the law to steal. If you actually knew what their mark up was it would blow you away. That is my point.

If you can't sell the product for 100% or markup it's not worth producing. The company has to pay overhead like the facility, workers and admin staff. As well as shipping and reciving. I know it didn't cost LOD $700 to make my bumper. But it's made in America by Americans and is a quality bumper. So I'm willing to pay more than a Chinese one. But sometimes the Chinese have a better product in that case you have to buy from them. This is the world we live in now.

I agree with you, bumpers for these Wranglers are expensive. One of the 1st mods I wanted to do for my JK was to put a front winch on it and then learned that wasn't feasible with the stock bumper without doing a lot of cutting and welding myself or paying someone else to do it, which didn't sound like a lot of fun to me. So I started shopping around and learned the only bumper that I was really interested in was the AEV front bumper which seemed outrageously expensive for a darn bumper. Come on $1000-$1400 for the damn front bumper and that doesn't even include the AEV Winch mount kit ($285) and front bumper skid plate($330) that I'll need as well? Seriously? I'm looking at close to $2K for just a front bumper to be able to mount my winch on?

Thank goodness for Craigslist and eBay. I got the AEV front bumper, Winch Mount kit, and Front skid plate. I would have purchased the Hard Rock 10A if it was available at the time but since it took me so much effort to get this AEV at a very low price, I'm afraid to part with it now.

Try fab 4s for instance. By the time you finish, bumper, skid plate, shipping, you are at 2 gs plus!
