Default Bumper replacement
If you install an aftermarket bumper, does it affect the air bag sensor?

Air bag sensors, aka impact sensors are behind the headlights. Having am aftermarket bumper can transmit that force straight to the frame instead of slowly absorbing it and deforming to allow the crush force to reach the sensors.

So yes and no.
