Buy now or wait until after labor day???????????
I have found the exact jeep that I want. It is a 6 spd Mountain Unlimited. My question is whether I should make the deal now or wait to see it there will be any new incentives after labor day. Anyone have an opinion?
Thanks.
Thanks.
If it's a Jeep you like and can get agreed on price to where you're comfortable with it, I'd say get it. Could the deal get any better by waiting? Probably could, but so do the odds of that particular Jeep selling. If you want the best deal possible and are not too concerned about the specific Jeep, I'd suggest waiting.
Personally. If thats the exact jeep you want, i'd at least see what kind of deal they can make. If it was me, i did pissed to find out someone bought the perfect jeep just because i wanted to wait and see if there were any incentives
Good Luck and welcome to the forums

If I am not mistaken Chrysler is making new Mountain Edition JK's every day, wait until the last three days of September. Quota's are on the line at the end of the month and salesmen may well be desperate to make their quota for the month.

Dude,
Go throw $500 deposit on it........ Tell him you going to check with your Credit Union or bank after the holiday, make sure you can get the deposit back if you decide not to take it.
Sit back and wait........................... but that's only what I would do.

Dude, if it's THE jeep, then pull the trigger and grab it. I agree with the post about dropping a deposit and sitting back a bit, but you need to "hold" it somehow. I know if I found my ultimate jeep and got scooped, I would be seriously irate. Also, look into the Tread Lightly organization to save 1% below invoice. And if your active military, that's another $500 off. Good luck!!

First off, thank you for your opinions and advice. I think I am going to cross all of my fingers and toes and wait until Sept 8th for the possible new incentives. I will keep you posted on my success....or failure.
