Ok, there are tons of mods on here about everything except air conditioning. Is there a way to Super Charge my air conditioner?

It was 96 today, with a feels like temp of 200 in the Jeep.

I had pretty good luck with this back in the day.

I've run in hotter and felt fine. Do you have a 2 or 4 dr.

Here are a couple idea's to make it feel better.

Open the windows slightly when you first start it up. After about 5 minutes close them.

Put the AC in recirc on very hot days, fan at your liking.

Sing Rudolph the rednose reindeer. (optional)

I don't know if it's owner subjectivity or an actual variable among JKs, but it seems there have been more than a few complaints about the A/C, yet many others that are more than satisfied with the operation. I don't use mine a lot, but when I have it performs well at even lower settings.

I have a 4 door. I had the recirc and fan on max all day today, never turned it down once. My two year old was sweating in the back seat. Maybe there is something wrong with it??

Default several things to look at....

Have you checked your fan operation? Turn your a/c on max- the fan should cut on....if it's not operating properly then your a/c won't cool until you get up to 35mph or faster. If you've been wheeling in mud your condenser is probably clogged up. You could have a leak in the system, if the system pressure drops below a predetermined point the compresser clutch will no longer energize and your a/c is effectively shut off. The hardtop will radiate absorbed heat for about 10 minutes, I run my system on max recirc position with a window or two cracked for about 10 minutes and then it will get COLD.NOTE: I've seen R134 that is supposed to increase the efficiency of your a/c system. Don't use it as it will void the a/c portion of your warranty.

It has been in the mid 90s and higher most of the summer here, I have not felt the need to have colder air..

If the temp gets below 90 I don't even run mine at full cool.

I have found that the interior gets much hotter than our other cars when just sitting driveway, but if I remember to roll the windows down a little a few minutes before I actual plan on leaving, it is much better.
