A/C kicking on
Has anyone else noticed the A/C kicking on randomly even when the AC button is not pressed and not in defrost mode? Mine will every now and then get real cold when just having the fan run at floor or vent setting. Of I press the AC button then press a second time it seems to turn right back off.

I believe the a/c pump is tied in with the wipers, at least this is my theory. I hear my a/c pump engage by itself sometimes when the wipers are on. EVEN WHEN the vent control is not on an A/C or defrost setting (floor only, or round dash vents only). The blower must also be set to an "on" position. I think the goal was to prevent the windows from fogging up prematurely.
