Hello, so when I first bought my 2008 Wrangler the AC was not working so I filled it with refrigerant and it worked fine for 2 years. It recently started to be a little weaker so I filled it up again. Based on the information I learned on this website it should be between 41 PSI and I think 69 PSI at 90°. I have low and high side gauges and the high side is perfectly in spec but as soon as I put the low side above 40 PSI the compressor just turns off and it stays off for maybe 15 seconds then kicks back on for a second and then shuts off again and obviously when the compressor is off the low side PSI pretty high. When it's at 38 PSI it blows about 50 to 55°, which is within spec. My theory is that the compressor kicks on recognizes the pressure is too high and then immediately kicks off however based on the information I've learned on this website the PSI is below what it's supposed to be??? Does anyone have any insight on that?
