Default Canvas doors?

If you use canvas doors (either half or full size doors) ......what is your "side mirror" solution?

This has been working well for me over the past three years.

I run half canvas most of the year. I use the rugged ridge round but replaced the flat mirror with a convex mirror for better visibility.

A question: I presume holes were drilled in the windshield frame to accommodate those mirrors.

When you put your hard doors back on for winter driving, now you've got redundant mirrors on both sides, because I'm assuming you don't take these mirrors off, exposing holes in the window frame, right?

I take the mirrors off during the winter. The mirrors will come apart at the mount by the windshield frame. So I'm left with a small black piece of metal still mounted to the windshield frame

I did the exact same thing. Perfect solution. I run my soft doors almost all the time. Rarely put the hard doors on anymore. I removed the stock mirrors in the hard doors and have the delete plate installed so there is no mirror conflict when I do put in the hard doors

I have a set of Lange quick 2 mirrors from my TJ that I use when the hard doors come off. I remove 1 bolt in the windshield frame and install the mirrors using a longer bolt and a rubber washer. I don't use the quick connect mount.

I made a bracket to use my American Outlaw mirrors with my softies.

The Bestop doors have pre-drilled and tapped holes in the frame under the canvas (you can see the three screws in my bracket) to use the TJ style mirrors if you want to mount some mirrors on the doors.

Nice idea but you loose the mirrors when you take the doors off or do you just move the mirror to the hinge on the body?
