Default center console modding

Anyone modify their center console with compartments or at least something that organizes the space in there? I am getting sick of my cologne bottle, my knife, sunglasses, and ez-pass all moving around when I drive and it rattles.

I was thinking about doing some mods with bungee cords or wood to make the compartment into sections. Anyone ever do this? And pictures would be appreciated.

I haven't seen anything like that besides a CB mounted in there. It's a good idea though!

I like the idea of an organizer for the center compartment.
I'll be interested to see what you come up with.

This won't happen until later on though. I'm coming up on finals week for school (RIT Graduate Program) and working full time. Probably will do this in the warmer spring weather. I was thinking two plates of wood inserted at the same height as the first coin holder and covered with non slip padded stuff and possible bungee cords for them as well.

Default Cologne bottle?

I don't have to worry about that one. The factory organizer suits me fine with the two bins up top and cavern down below. One man's trash is another's treasure.

Get the center console drop in tray from Mopar. It comes standard on 2009+ Jk's. If your like me and have a pre 09, check to see if you have the 4 little tabs that hold it up (some of the late model 08's have it). If not, do as I did and get some black screws with big heads (auto zone) and screw em in in the correct position leaving a bit of the head sticking out. The tray will sit on the screw heads.

At Walmart they have a Jeep toiletries bag in the suitcase area that would hold all that. $6-10 bucks.

I have one in my glove box...

It came out great! Looks like you bought it. May be you should market them. I'm sure they would sell. You could never have too many compartments in the Jeep.
