Default Center Console Squeek

Hello Everyone, I am new to JK's and I am a part of my local Jeep Boards, but there isnt enough JK talk. And I have been itching to solve this problem, so hopefully with your help, I can get some advice and this problem sorted.

Its not a rattle, Ive looked through pages and pages of Jeep forums and most people have the zipper rattle or something else.

But from what I can hear the squeeking comes from smaller bumps and it sounds like something is rubbing and making quite the annoying squeek sound, almost as if i had a crappy body lift and the rubber was squeeking when i went over a bump. (i do not :p)

Location: The Sound comes from almost in between where the center dash panel and my speedo and stuff is, comes from inside. Ive checked the bolts on my dash mounts and they are tight, and Im gonna get out with the stethoscope today and see if I can hear it better. Ill also try and get video.

Anyone have any ideas what it is.

Mike I had the same problem. I could swear it was coming from directly in front of me from the instrument cluster. Turns out my freedom top was not torqued down enough. turned the big screw a few turns and never had the sound again. I know it sounds too easy but it worked for me. I hate rattles in my rides!!!
