Default Changed manual trans oil - much better!

FYI - For those of you with manual transmissions that don't like the 'grinding' feel, I can tell you that switching to Royal Purple Synchromax fixes all that. Now shifting is more of a toc-toc feel than a crunch-crunch feel. :-)

Yes it worked for me. The problem was getting to the drain plug. Tell us how you did it.

I used the Amsoil in mine, but after reading about the drain plug decided to let Grease Monkey do it. They vacuumed out the old through the fill hole, put in my Amsoil, and all at no charge. Love the shifting now--big change!

What's with the drain plug?? hard to get to?

Did you go to a quick lube place or a local garage. I don't have my Unlimited yet (on order) but sounds like this is something to do.
