doesn't have the plastic pieces you fit in the door surrounds anymore. I here they bow out at highway speeds but have not ridden in one myself.

Wonder if that was a dealer thing? If you check Jeep's website, the unlimited's not offered via Jeep anymore.

No. They offered that early on. I believe it has expired. Now the warranty is as stated in this thread. And it is transferable again. Unlike the lifetime which only has 3/36 transferable.

Man, that's awesome! Unlimited warranty on a '10, and B2B for only $2000 more?

I believe currently for '10s its 3/36k basic and 5/100K for powertrain, although this may change again.

NO Shit!....I'm not sure if I need air in my tires either.

What? I need to change my oil..I thought I had a lifetime warranty.

TOO FUNNY!

I guess some folks just need a reminder.

You ain't kidding and that magnetic looking strip and spring loaded side may be 'faster' but it sure won't stay down at HWY speed over time.

I totally didn't hear about the warranty change either.
Now I'm completely satisfied with my 'snap' decision to buy my '09 Jeep this July.
Life time warranty, last year for Yellow and IMO a more secure top. Which, BTW, did not leak 2 drops during the Nor' Easter we just had here in Va Beach. 3 days of driving rains with sustained 40+ mph winds.

That Jeep was the driest thing in my possession, including the house and 2 year old shed.
