Exclamation Changing fluids

I want to change the diff, transfer case, trans and oil myself coming up soon, maybe soon after the 1st of the year. I was wondering what everyone suggests as far as weight, brand, and so on. I have an 2dr X with stock D30/D44, lifted 3" and 33" tires.

The fluids in my 2010 JK are the same thing that are used in my '07 Ram 3500.

I use Mobil 1 or Royal Purple in the diffs. Generally there is M1 in one diff and RP in the other. None of the local parts stores ever have enough of one to do both diffs with the same fluid.

The transfer case and trans get ATF+4. The ATF+4 is pretty much all the same so I generally use the Mopar branded stuff at Walmart. I've also used Valvolines version.

I just did the first oil change in the JK at 1000 miles. I used Pennzoil 5w-20. At 5000 miles I'm switching to Mobil 1 5w-20.

I just did the diffs and oil change. No big issues, but don't worry about some sludge on the diff drain plug. I was worried, opened the cover up, and it was perfectly clean inside.

I used AMSOIL in the diffs and engine. I plan on extending my drain intervals on the engine oil, not the differentials since I'm likely to be in water frequently enough.
