Default Check this out!!!! MPG!

I feel like a idiot... I thought i was getting like 14.5mpg but really im getting like 18-20mpg! I just figured out that if you hold down the MPG switch that it resets it. I for some reson just thought i would try it on the way to the beach and sure enough my 15mpg went to 19 pretty quick! i topped out at 22.0 mpg! This is probably old news but if you havent tried this before a trip you should!

Yep, it resets and starts counting from scratch. Good for when you only want to see your freeway mileage. I would actually like to have two of those, like the two 'trip' odometer readouts.

I'd settle for one that was more accurate. My speedo is spot-on compared to my GPS but the MPG indicator is way off.

Just did my 3rd tank with a new 2011 tudor. 300 miles, 22.2 mpg on the dashboard, 22.4 mpg by the calculator. Figure I didn't get the tank quite as full this time as last time so the dashboard was a bit lower. If it had been the other way around (didn't get the last tank as full as this time) then the dashboard would have read higher.

More than half my driving is on the highway @ around 60.

I'm blown away how accurate the dashboard computer is. Wonder if they are not all the same? I reset the dashboard MPG computer at each fillup.

I've been checking my mileage for the last few months. The computer calculated mpg reading is always off, sometimes as much as 2 mpg. The closest it's been is 0.2 on one tank but it's been 1-2 mpg off (always higher) on the rest of the fill-ups.

I get 250 before fill up. I'm sure I could squeak by to 275, but I usually fill up before I hit a 1/4 tank.

On mine, you don't have to hold the button. You just push it once. Maybe the '11 is different?

With the 22.5 gallon tank, I usually run mine down to about 3 gallons left until empty and I get 350 miles on a tank pretty easily. Granted, I'm not running 35" meats on the highway either.

This just happened to me too. For the last two months it was stuck on 14.9 or 15 but once I reset it now I watch it bounce all over from 12-22. It seems accurate now as I changes according to how I'm driving.
