Check TPM System Warning
I am new the the JK world, I had a TJ for many years and just sold it and bought a JK to accommodate my growing family of now 5. I just purchased a 2013 JK with the 3.6 auto transmission. I just rotated the tires (did a 5 tire rotation). The gauge screen is telling me to "Check TPM System" and the TPMS light flashes for a minute and then goes solid every time I start the Jeep. At first I thought it just needed to reset itself and just drive a while. This afternoon, I added air to each of my 4 tires (I did not add air to the spare). As I added air to each tire I could see that the PSI on the gauge went up and they corresponded to the correct location of the tire. That rules out a bad TPMS sensor and that it just needs more time to locate in their correct position on the Jeep.
So this tells me the system is reading the correct tires in the correct locations and that it recognizes the spare was moved to used position and that the tire I rotated to the spare is not coming up on the screen. If the system is reading all of the correct tires in their locations and PSI's correctly why am I still having the "Check TPM System" message and having my light blinking and then going solid? It never did this before I rotated the tires.

what is the alert threshold set at, and what are the tires pumped to. sometimes you need to pump them up over the threshold a few psi and then bring them back down if desired once the alert is off. can't say that is what's going on here but definitely free to try.
I am not sure what the alert threshold is. I know I am fine running it at 26-28 psi, I am currently running 37/12.5/17 and it never had an issue. Obviously the light comes on when I off road and lower my psi to 13-15 psi but once i air it back up it is good to go. I tried airing all the tires up to 40 psi and so far it did not change anything.
What I did notice is I pumped the tires up last night to 42-43 psi and this morning that 3 of them were at 32 and one was at 26. I have beadlocks on the rims and I then noticed that I could hear air leaking from them. They do not leak air when I have them at their normal psi of 26-28. They will hold that psi for weeks on end. Maybe I need to check their torque. I think this is a separate issue since I have never had an issue with the TPMS prior to me rotating them today.

I am also wondering if it is one of the modules, but why then are all the tires reading and adjusting pressures on all four tires correctly? I would think if one of the modules went bad, then one of the tire pressure sensors would also not be showing accurate readings. For a while yesterday, the front two tires were switched. That makes me think that one of the sensor could possibly be bad up front. Does anyone know where hey they are actually located?
also I have a Superchips Flashcal that came with the JK. I plugged it in to see if everything was setup correct. The previous owner had already adjusted the tire size, gear ratio, and the tire pressure limit (which is set to 21). I checked the DTC no codes for the TPMS came up.The only codes were for lost communication with the radio (because it has an aftermarket one) and that my rear light bulb went out because it went out this morning. I replaced the bulb and cleared all the codes. It did turn off the light but it came back on a few miles later. I checked the codes again and there were none other than the radio one. I’m at a complete loss. I hate going to the dealership, I rarely ever bring a car to a shop and always fix it myself, but I am at a loss. My last thing to check is one of the front module sensors a bit I have no idea where they are located and I can’t find an image online that shows where they are.
Thanks for your help.

You may try to just go to a tire dealership (Goodyear did this for me). They had a tool that they can go by each tire and check that the tire sensor is working or not including the spare. It took about 2 minutes and they found the bad one. In my case the spare was the issue and then it was put back in rotation it caused the problem.
@RonandJanet I did go to a tire place and they checked all tires (including the spare) and then they even reset the TPMS system. It cleared it for 2 miles then it came back on. I cleared it with my Superchip and it stayed of for a couple miles and then it came back.

Have you tried rotating the spare back "in" and taking the original spare back out? Since you didnt have this issue before you rotated your spare in, I would think that sensor has a strong possibility of being the problem, whether its reading correctly or not, it may only fault out when its rotating. the sensors are located at the valve stem mounted to the inside of the rim.
@RonandJanet No all the tires say they are at the correct levels. All the sensors are showing correctly on my display for each of the 4 tires.
@RwH Yes I tried putting the spare back on the back thinking it might be that. For a while I even removed the original spare and left it in my garage seeing if that would help to only have 4 tires on the Jeep.
All the sensors work exactly as they should because if I inflate or deflate each tire, it shows the change on my dash correctly and it shows the change on the correct tire location (and I double check it with a manual gauge). If it were not for the annoying warning message and the TPMS light it is working perfectly.

this looks like it seems to be a dead end... with no solution, so i will ask the questions again; similar to above except in my case i replaced all 5 tires, and had new mopar tpms sensors as recommended by the dealer. it should relearn these new sensor after 10 minutes of driving but it was a FAIL!!!! after spending unnecessary $$$ in trouble shooting with no solution. in summary; all 5 sensors have been relearned, from JSCAN i can tell that all sensors are reading correctly, with 32 psi desired pressure and triggers at 26 psi. however all this being said, every time a start my 2015 JK display showing "CHECK TPM SYSTEM" light stays off... anyone have details on the TPM module(s)?
