I've been back and forth, looking at this thread and PIC. My Breather tube is on the other side, and does not touch the gearbox fox/rubber sandwiches. Yet I still have that AWFUL chirp, all the time everytime.
Just a thought if the breather hose isnt the cause of the noise on your jeep try spraying some silicone lubricant around the gearbox foam rubber sandwich and where it makes contact with the metal body as that has the potential to squeak /chirp when it is moved by engine torque also.
