Default Christmas Down time?

I ordered a new 2013 Rubicon Unlimited on 11/26/12 and was wondering if Chrysler shuts down for Christmas to New Years. Any info?

I ordered a 2013 JKUR on October 31, 2012 and it is still in VOTS as "Production Scheduled"

I am hoping that it will be delivered by mid-January 2013?

Auto companies shut down the day before Christmas and resume production the day after New Year, at least they did when I was an auto worker but I have been retired since 1991.

Speaking to my dealer about ordering and he said they are off for a week or two. Apparently it is in their union contract...

Amen to that! I was just interested because it would change my delivery date but not by much. Merry Christmas to me.
