Default Clamps on 2007 soft top???

Somewhere on this forum someone had a picture of a new clamp they are replacing the old ones with. does anyone have that picture. My soft top is loud and I feel the clamps are just not holding it on tight enough. the new clamps from the picture on here looked alot more solid. I have tried to search it and looked for it continuously. has anyone seen them??

didn't know they were replacing them, but read somewhere how you could get a tighter seal...

wrap a towel around the metal of the receiving end of the clamp (the c shaped part attached to the window surround), then with a pair of channel locks or vice grips bend them downwards slightly. the towel will serve to keep it from getting scratched up by the tool you use. once you bend these things down, the top will clamp to it a little lower than before, creating a better seal for the weatherstripping around the window.

good luck, hope this helps... best of all, it's free
