I have this clicking noise from the right front tire when I turn to the left at low speeds. It getting worse by the day. I'm thinking u joints are bad. Its a '12 with 16000 miles. Any thoughts before it take in?

I had the same issue with my '12 Rubicon unlimited. Low speeds it sounded horrible, people would just stare like something was broken. Took it to my local jeep dealer and found it was a broken u-joint. It wasn't a major issue, once the part was in it only took a couple hours to fix.

What were the treads catching? I have trimmed fenders and almost 4 inches of lift.

Check your balancing weights mine is loose on my driver side and every time my tire makes contact to the ground it make a clicking noise! It drives me crazy so I just put my music loud now!
