Just had the clockspring in my 09 replaced today. Luckily (this time) I was one of those suckers that purchased an extended warranty. Filed complaint on nhtsa site tonight.

I also just had it replaced on my 09 JK. The starter & dynamic sensor too!! They fixed everything but the dynamic sensor under warranty. But my jeep came back with the rear windows not working!!

I got mine done. They just trim it here & there. I guess the hard plastic can screw up your brake lines or something that runs near them.
