Default Cloth seat coming loose

I have the factory YES Essentials fabric seats in my 2010 Rubi. It has about 33k miles.

The cloth on the driver's side is starting to wrinkle and come loose. Basically I can feel a slight lump under my butt since the fabric there is loose and bunching slightly. The passenger's side is nice and tight.

I'm kicking myself for not getting seat covers sooner. And my factory warranty just ran out, so I can't make a warranty claim. Questions...

1) Any of you guys experiencing this issue? How did you fix it?

2) Will seat covers (neoprene maybe?) fix this? I'm concerned I may still feel a lump underneath the seat cover, since the factory fabric is loose.

If the fabric is not torn. Take it to a furniture upholsterer & have it sewn, then get seat covers.

The fabric is not torn. I just checked the seats again, and I can actually feel a lump in the foam part of the cushion. Maybe I'll have to remove the fabric and see what's going on with the foam underneath.

Has anyone removed the factory seat cloth? Any tips on how to do it?

It was not terribly hard to do - you had some rings to clip off and remove (you can use small cable ties to re-secure.) It is easiest to take the seats out first so you can work on them. On a side note, if you are looking for heated seats, that would be a good time to do it. Also, you can pick up some Katzkin seats for around $600 (I have read) if you do it yourself. That would be a good time to do it as well.

Thanks for the info. Where can I get Katzkins for 600? That seems very cheap.
