Clutch noise
Hey guys, been doing a lot of reading on here about the hydraulic clutch in my '07 JKUR.
My issue is that I hear a slight "hydraulic noise" when I press the clutch in now that wasn't there before. It hasn't been getting worse or anything. Just started noticing it maybe back in August. I did the brakes about two years ago so that's the last time I had the system open so I don't think any air got in then. I guess my question is should I just try and bleed out any air that might be in there? Or, what else could be causing the noise?
Again, it's not terribly noisy or anything. Kinda like the noise the power steering makes when it's turned all the way to the stops is the best way to describe it. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm thinking It's the trough out bearing
No pumps in hydraulic clutch
If its out of adjustment it could be trying to push the bearing to far in and causing it to wine at full stroke
or the bearing it self is wearing out
Hope that helps

Is this a noise you can hear even when the engine isn't running? If so, good luck fixing it. I've swapped both slave and master cylinders, and it still makes this noise. Replacing TOB (during other repairs) also did not stop it. Many others have also been frustrated trying to stop it. I suspect it is poor quality new parts that allow the noise, so there's no being sure it won't do it except for dumb luck.
Edit: I have about 75K miles now with this noise coming and going. I just ignore it now.

My 2012 w/ 40K miles on it makes a faint clattering noise (you really have to listen for it) with the motor running, gear in neutral. Goes away when I push the clutch pedal in. Jeep drives perfectly fine so I am ignoring it. My old 2002 Sport never had any issues.
Thanks for the replies guys. Just turned 99k and haven't had any problems that weren't an easy fix yet so maybe I'll just turn up the radio a little and pretend it's not happening, kind of like I do when I look at my checking account! Cheers!
