Anyone have the part number for the stock clutch in USA?, I will see if I have the same part or not.
my friends have the same problem.

My JK is 2012 model but I have the old front bumper I think it will have other parts not belong to the 2012
all dealers in middle east sell it with the old bumper.

Hi

It is not 'the old' bumper..... it is the current Euro spec bumper.

I destroyed my 2012's clutch in 10000km....... my fault.
I got stuck in the thick sand a few times and tried the 'rev it alot and drop the clutch' approach to getting out..... it worked some times and other times the sand was too thick and the clutch just adsorbed all the energy and kills the engine..... not good for the clutch.

4L and a slow gentle approach with the clutch engaged and slowly spinning wheels works much better. To get unstuck and not kill the clutch.

Regards
Paul

But I didnt stuck at all and its consumed faster that any car.

how much did you drive your car after the clutch replaced ? how much you need to press the pedal to get the car moving?

I'm noticing a similar condition, it seems much worse when reversing up a slight hill. The problem (IMO) is reverse is geared to high and the engine revs too freely (I have the 3.73 rear end)! Several times while backing up small hills while parking at a local State Park, I smell the clutch burning as I try and ease into an available parking space, that are all dirt cover in pine straw! I have also experienced it a couple times when starting off on a hill after being at a dead stop. I've disable the Hill Assist becauuse it just holds too long, but finding that sweet spot between stalling and over reving and taxing the clutch is tricky to hit every time!
