Default Clutch question

How do I know if my clutch is going? And what is a good aftermarket clutch? And how hard is it to change a clutch!

I know dude. Mine too. I made ONE slip up where i got in, and just out of habit pressed it in to start it when i didnt mean to. I can feel it slipping going from stopped into 1st gear.

Check out this install thread. I would want at least a week off work for this one... Install

Yeah that's a super write up, I am just debating on doing it now and call it a day or risk it going out completely on the trail I have 47k on the oem clutch. And I would probably go with a center force as well. I just need time off work to do it. I will probably try and get it done at my shop at work

I think it would be one of those mods where we both were gonna do it and i drove down to your place and did 2 at once. Just for the extra set of hands.

Best way to see if it is slipping is to be going very slow and have it in 4th gear and hit the gas hard. If the rpms go up and the speed doesn't change then it is slipping.

If you can use a lift it isn't very hard to change. Be sure to change the pilot bearing also and all will be good.
