Just got back from the dealer for the clutch squeek TSB and apparently this is the latest fix. Just thought i would post this for anyone with the same problem and to add to the vast amount of info on the subject. BTW, my clutch squeek during gear changes and has been fixed, for now, and i also experienced a squeek when pressing in the clutch pedal and that is also gone. I only hope it stays that way.

THanks.
People were saying they hear a squeeking noise, but I was hearing a "chirping" and was wondering if it was the same thing. I'm hoping to make an appointment for it soon.
Is the invoice always $0 for everyone for this TSB?

Yeah, i think everyone should have it covered under warranty being that Jeep has identified the problem.
Can I ask how many miles you have on your JK? I have both the throw out bearing squeal, and the clutch chirp, and I am tired of hearing both… But I have almost 24k on my JK and fear they might give me the run around. I was going to just wait until an upgraded clutch became available and do the work myself; but I was just laid off from my job, and not certain that I will be called back anytime soon or if at all… So I need to watch my spending habits for awhile.
The throw out bearing started making its noise at 13k, and I have had the clutch chirp issue since new... I should have just brought it in when this first started; but I have trust issues when it comes to others working on my vehicles.

Thanks for posting... I've been wondering if they have revised the clutch since I had mine done. Looks like they have not. I also got the xxxxx-AC part# installed on mine. Noise came back about 10,000 miles later.
Yeah. I had that one twice also. It's been that revision for quite some time now. First one lasted about 5K, the second one about 3K.
I can't believe they were still making Jeeps with defective clutch plates/TOB when they knew they were bad. Look at the date the TSB was released and the date range of affected vehicles.
I also can't believe they have not fixed the issue yet. Replacing crap with crap is ridiculous.
