Throw out bearing is not engaged just spinning, an increase in RPM= more noise if the bearing is failing. And if the bearing is failing, it is going to be rough clutching. In 47yrs I have cooked a few clutches ( stupid aggressive driving). Never damaged a throw out bearing, but always (since we are in there) replaced it. But I could be wrong. And when I started driving the EXPERTS told us an ICE AGE was coming and we were all going to starve too DEATH. Good Times
I think what is causing this is where the Clutch Master Cylinder push rod connects to the Clutch Pedal. I looked at real good today and it seems kind of loose. Looked at parts diagram and don't see a bushing or spacer so I'm going to assume the Clutch Master Cylinder Push rod is worn or the retaining clip needs to be replaced. I'm going to try putting a temporary bungy cord on the Clutch Master Cylinder to keep a constant pressure on it so it doesn't vibrate.
