Hello...You will never need to worry about being warm,
Cleaning the top of your jeep off , now thats gonna be the tuff 1...I have the 4 door rubi and I'm 6'1" and cannot after standing on the entry threshold ..clean my roof.
I have owned 3 jeeps all of which had just the soft tops and I live in New England.. our winters are equally bad and never have I been cold the heaters work well in these Jeeps ....but like I said if you are getting the 4 door making sure that the snow does not sit on your top is imperative specially because of the seams ...you don't want to stretch the top allowing water somehow to seap in which seems to be the case in some of these new posts...I have been on many sites and there is a new thing to look for and that is the seams of the B pillar stretching apart allowing the tops to leak. So anything that will weaken this material is a no no so you want to keep it snow free...I mean if you have a blizzard anything more than 4 inches.

Get a nice warm jacket, and between that and the AWESOME heater, you will be hot as Florida summers... No need to worry

Yes it should be fine I drove a jeep in Kamloops for years with only a soft top.

Gets very cold there -20 C or so.

Like the person above said just tap the windows from the inside and most of the snow / ice will fall off no scraping. This jeep has a much better heater than previous ones and the cab will be very warm . The only noticable difference is if you park it will get cold again very quick. The top doesn't contain heat very well.

let it warm up for a few to defrost the soft top windows DO NOT SMACK them! if it is very cold, that could damage them. They defrost quickly.

I had zero problems with my soft top last winter. I live near Niagara Falls, we get a lot of snow & wind, and days where it is very cold ~ no issues.

Great info.
But, my question is... Is the hard top inherently warmer than the soft?
Please say yes as I just ordered a hard top to be warmer in these Colorado winters. Of course, I also get 70 mph side winds during blizzards on the plains. They're so brutile that last winter snow was coming through the speaker holes in my Expedition's doors and blowing hard enough to move my pants legs!
