Anyone else had this problem?
Same issue here, as it rarely gets to 40 here in the winter. Feels like the syncros. Many mornings it is 15 or so and it is really pronounced until the fluid moves around for a mile or two. No need to worry though.

New '12 JKU owner and my antenna is leaking oil.

So far this baby rocks w/no issues what so ever. Love the handling and performance.

My nephew has the '11 and wants to trade it in for the '12.

Headlight fluid and muffler bearing service bulletins just went out. Both are easy fixes.

Default 3.21 vs 4.10

Just ordered a 2012 Rubi with 35's and lift at the dealer. Can someone explain about the 3.21 axle gear ration vs the 4.10. I've been reafing a lot but I cant find a simple answer. When and and does it make a difference? Thanks!

^lots of people on here know more than I do, but I will say you'll want the 4.10 with 35's . I have 4.10 with the stock rubi tires and its a nice ride.

imagine it like riding a 10 speed bicycle......it is easier to start off when you use the bigger sprocket in the back and the smaller sprocket in the front to create more RPM with your legs, but you can't travel as fast on the top end......that would be the 4.10.......if you are using the bigger sprocket in the front and the smaller sprocket in the back it is extremely hard to start off, but you can travel at a much higher top speed......that would be the 3.21.....simple as that.

Generally, as you go taller in tires you want to go lower (numerically higher) in gears.

3.21's are controversial on here for guys with stock Jeeps. You'd want at least 4.10's to turn 35's.

Welcome to the forum but please don't turn this thread into that debate. There are numerous other threads on the exact question. Gear ratio is not an "issue" and really shouldn't be discussed in this thread.

Have found a couple minor issues the last couple weeks. The tailgate door lock cylinder is falling out, obviously the spring clip inside came off or was never installed.
Also when pulling up on the park brake, after the first few inches, it jumps further up. Kinda like maybe the cable is hanging up on something, or the ratchet has something in it, and it suddenly releases from the hangup. Had this problem before on another vehicle which turned out to be a bad handle ratchet.
PBrake adjustment seems??? a little loose on adjustment too.

Otherwise nothing else so far. 2400 miles and nary a drop of oil consumed....or at least no change in the level on the dipstick.
