exactly... the ones that post huge lists of problems will have a lot of mods evidenced by their siggys.. you mess with it, you deal with the problems that come with it. now mine is bone stock, so i can talk about actual oem problems.

i cant think of one.. sorry.

At a little over 23K on a 2009 X, I have a front axle seal leaking and the transfer case shift linkage broke. Otherwise, I am pretty well good to go.

Oh, and it is covered in yellow pollen, but I don't think that is Chrysler's fault. :-)

My recent bitch about getting my soft top aside my 08 4 door sahara is the best vehicle I have ever driven. Even 6 months later I can't wait to drive it everyday.

I love my hard top....LOVE it. I am still getting used to my softtop, but the sunrider feature is very very cool.

I have had no problems other than a few chips in windshield. Try to get glass repair on your insurance policy as you probably will take a rock to the windshield.

X2 - Periodically hit the seals with Silicone. My "08" just over two years old and still leak-free.

Only problem that is annoying is the door rattle, but that can be fixed with tape easily.

The gas tank overflow is the only thing that has pissed me off about my jeep. Other then that I love it.

I have wondered about this problem, seems a few have it and dont know why. MY 2007 and my 2009 have had no issues with overflowing but for some reason some others have?

The Wrangler has been made more civilized but still makes compromises for its off-road capability. The ride, handling, and powertrain are all improved, but the Wrangler falls short when driven on-road. Handling is compromised by vague steering and low cornering limits. The ride is steady but stiff. The 3.8-liter V6 lacks punch and delivers dismal fuel economy, just 15 mpg overall. Improvements include up-to-date safety features such as electronic stability control and more creature comforts. Off-road capability remains extremely impressive. IIHS side-crash-test results without the optional side air bags are unimpressive. Reliability has been well below average.

That said, I love my 2009 JK 2dr Rubicon. Just don't expect anything more than above.
