Default Confused?

The more and more I bring myself back to this forum to ready myself for the upgrade to a 2012 the more I get confused.

While reading through a random thread I found someone who said this

Am I missing this on the jeep website, or is this incorrect? I don't recall anything but the rubi coming with 32's...

nope, so far as i know, you ain't missing a thing. to the best of my knowledge, only the rubicon comes with 32" mt's. some sahara's come with a close metric equivalent but, they are street tires.

Only the base Sport comes with small (under 32" tires).

Everything else, including the Sport S, has 17" or bigger wheels and 32" tires. The normal tire on the Sport S is a P255/75R17 Goodyear SR-A.

X2 on this. S has street tires and Rubicon has M/T's. Both 32's

The S package sport has a 32" rubicon rim and tire package you can add as an option. I have the order book right here with all the diff options for each class of jeep.

That may be but the stock tire is still a 255/75R17 SR-A.

FWIW, I found that my old stock Sahara 255/70/18 Bridgestone Duelers were actually about a half inch taller than the 255/75/17 Rubicon BFG MT's.
