Default Coolant Leak.

So i have noticed my jeep has been leaking a red fluid. I kept thinking it was my transmission cooler lines leaking but yesterday i realized that my engine is leaking coolant. A gasket is broken and now i am being told by the dealership it is going to cost around $1350 in labor and then i dont know how much parts will cost which i guess wont be much.
My jeep has 44,000 miles on it and was purchased on december 13,2008
I am out of warranty but is there not a warrenty on this?
Can someone help me on this because lately i feel like my jeep is falling apart...

A gasket on the engine will be covered by your Lifetime Power Train Warranty.

well today it got tested and its the gasket around the water pump. its going to coust around $1300 but it is actually covered in the lifetime powertrain warranty. I was not informed of it until today so i am happy and they are also giving my jeep a23 point inspection for free. i am very surprised at how everything has been because they did not question lift, tires, gears, ect... at all

You are covered, so it doesn't matter, but $1300 for a water pump gasket is criminal.

yeh thats what i thought. they told me it would cost $120 to first even touch my jeep and then it would probably need 5-6 hours of labor and then parts

Find another dealer next time. This almost sounds criminal.
