Yeah I'm serious. Last time I read that you had to mix it with water and that you had to leave the jeep running. Or something like that. I'm 18 and just learning about working on my jeep.

Purchase the correct fluid, dilute 50/50 with distilled water and pour into overflow res. It should all be in the owners manual. If you don't have a manual it can be downloaded from the Jeep website.

Alright then. You have two options. Buy the coolant that is pre-diluted; should say 50/50 on the bottle. Or you can buy the full strength coolant and mix it 50/50 with water. Either way you need to buy the coolant that says "FOR ALL MAKES AND MODELS". Do NOT buy the Dextron (orange I believe). That is only for GM vehs.

To my knowledge you don't have to have the Jeep running or anything. Just full up the bottle to the MAX line and you should be good.

Visible leaking around the pump housing or drips under vehicle. Also, you may notice the smell of antifreeze when vehicle is running or was just shut off.

Make sure you check your blinker fluid. If your coolant is low, then chances are that's low also.
