Default Crack in Instrument Cluster

Just looked down at my 4 week old JKU and see a small crack starting on the bottom of the instrument cluster. Looks like it started under the dash.

This will be my 3rd warranty claim in 4 weeks. 1st was the rear soft top window, second was the leather on the steering wheel.

There will also be a 4th. The weather seal on the tailgate is splitting at the top corner.

That is a lot of issues for a new vehicle. Just curious if this is common?

It sure is. To lend balance to whatever replies this post receives, I had four warranty claims on my 2007:

1. Leak at rear window when new. Replaced seal.

2. EGR valve code at about 32K miles. Went away by itself (but only long enough to get me out of warranty).

3. Clicking sound when pressing brake at 35K. Replaced brake pedal sensor switch.

4. Horn won't work at 145K miles. Replaced clockspring under special 2007 model warranty provision.

The dealer where I bought the car is useless. Told me to go somewhere else which I did.

Dealt with two other dealers for the wheel and window and they were great.

I think they like warranty work. The one who helped me with the window said bring it in so they can submit the claim. They could care less if I bought the car from them.

The body shop does the trim work there and I trust them instead of the service mechanics using a metal screwdriver to pry out switches and trim.

Had to have my rear axle rebuilt and drivers rear brake assembly replaced because it was assembled improperly at the factory.
