Default crank windows roll down by themselves

2017 JKU I find that my back windows will go down about 1" by themselves from just driving, Anyone else have this issue?

This may sound a little dumb, but reposition your handles so they hang in the opposite direction of rolling them down direction. If that makes any sense? Maybe a temporary fix. Not sure if you can adjust or tighten the the crank mechanism it's self.

Sounds to me the crank gear system has come loose or off track. there should be some resistant to the crank which keep the window up or down or anywhere in between. This would mean having to remove the inner panel to access the mechanicals of the crank & channel supporting the window.

Mine will creep down about 1/8-1/4" but that's all the further they go. There aren't a ton of manual window owners here that I've seen so you may find limited responses.

Funny you say that, I looked long and hard for a jeep that didn't have power windows and locks, it really surprised me to find out how few, especially in a jeep, manual windows and locks are anymore in vehicles

I've rarely found mine down perhaps a quarter to half inch. And I more often find that if I'm getting into the backseat area, it's easy to bump the crank handle, lowering the window.
