I remember a good bit of it being attributed tot he taller than typical stock ride. The frame (which is also quite nice on the Jeep) take the brunt of the damage.

The lifted truck really had the better chance. The raised front bumper of the truck hit right in the soft spot of the jeep. Really bad news, kind of like this hit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAMKvxLOWI4
