Default Crazed Fog Lights - anyone else have this happen?

I run with my Fog Lights on most of the time - years of motorcycle riding tells me lights help you to be seen.
Now my Fog Lights are crazed (several small cracks from behind the lens), I think from getting hot on a long trip then having cold rain hit them - anyone else have this happen and does the dealer cover it??
PS: Factory bulbs.

Sounds like something that should be covered by warranty. The plastic should be able to handle that kinda heat, but I do hear of people breaking headlight lens going through deep water with the lights on.

I've had the same problem, I'm on my third set. They have been warranted though through the dealer. Not exactly sure what the cause is, I'm not running stock bulbs btw.

I want to go to higher watt bulbs and many threads say they are great, so thats why I put the 'stock bulbs' in the first note - just wondering did the dealer ask you if the bulbs were stock?

My local dealer wants me to do their job and call Jeep and explain the issue - I told him I thought it was crap that the front of my JK does not have one chip on it and they say it could have happened from an outside force - on both lights??? So I said you are telling me that not one stone hit and chipped my bumper or grill, but selectively hit BOTH fog lights. They want me to pay for it up front so they can send the lights into Jeep and SEE if they will warranty it!

I run with every time my headlights are on, no problems like you've described.

Maybe try a different dealership in terms of the warranty work.

Default Update

After calling Jeep customer service (thats an oxy moron) and telling the guy about the problem, then waiting 3 days while he 'confirmed' with the dealer what I said they replaced fog lights under warranty.
