I don't think he bent the mount location. The factory bumper has a CPL crease bends in there and I think that is what bent in when it got hit. He just needs to check it out..

I dont what to cause more damage then I already done but I also have plans for 35's that this is a deal breaker.
The last thing I want to do is take it to a dealer to fix.
Right now RR XHD is top of my list, no end caps, prerunner. Its not set it stone yet.
If it's bent where I think it is, then YES you can beat it back out into a good position. You won;'t get it perfect, but the skin will hide that. I am almost 99.5% sure it's bent at the creases on the ends of the bumper. Check it out before you go buying this and that.

I agree with Rut, I doubt your frame is bent from that low speed impact (assuming that is how slow you were going ) You can check your frame rail, just behind the bumper, as it has a collapsible crush zone to absorb impact and distribute energy. Take a look and see if one side looks different from the other side. Also If the frame was bent he would most likely be having alignment issues and be feeling it in the steering as the frames are prone to bend right behind the front axle where the frame widens.

When you say "collapsible crush zone", are those what I have been referring to as crush cans? They look like cylinders? It also appears that they can be removed once you have the bumper and tow hooks off. And since I already know one of these 'crush cans' is collapsed/pushed it, would I have to replace it? If I go aftermarket bumper?
The avatar I have now is my replaced bumper. I don't know if you can tell but the one side is angled in. Its not horrible but still not what I would want.

No the crush cans are just that..they look like soup cans and are welded to the metal bumper underneath. I can't tell from your avatar. Take a few pics and post up and we will try and help you out. No, you don't have to replace them, you will perfectly fine with them off. They are only there to keep the sqare protrusion on the front of your bumper from being "crushed" in if it gets bumped. Other than that they serve no purpose.
