On a positive note, they sent a couple videos. I can only post one, as the second is too large. At least the parts look clean and I couldn't see any major issues with the differential. Maybe they are building a YouTube channel.

. The best way to get videos here that I've found is to post to YouTube and then just copy/paste the link which will embed it.

Hey all, time to revive this dead thread. HAPPY EASTER!

Guess what is leaking again? The same flipping axel! It lasted only 2 years on the Belgian roads. I noticed the leak this afternoon when I rotated the tires. We are due to move back to the US in a couple months. Question, do I just run with it leaking and hope the inspection does not find the leak or try to fix it? I'm leaning towards leaving it as is and repairing it stateside as there is just too much on my plate with moving right now.

I bet you could just leave it and clean it up with some degreaser prior to inspection.

Or lower the oil level in the diff for inspection so long as you don't have to drive far. Then fill it up again. I have Mopar stock seals that have had the axles out once from me and don't know about previous guy and they do not leak. But I cleaned the shit out of the tube before replacing the axles and used the little splined white UHMW washer thing to hold the axle off the tube bottom when re-installing.

Thanks. I think I'll do both. Drop the oil the day before dropping it off and do a deep degrease. They have the hobby shop near to the shippers. Then it goes on the truck in Germany, the boat in Belgium, the truck in Corpus, and delivered to Dallas. I'll bring some fluid to pick it up since it is a drive from Dallas to San Antonio.
