Default Darn oil change indicator beep

I read the user manual and have completed the pressing of the pedal 3 times more than Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Anyone have real experience doing this that can help me out?

Did you turn the key past accessory, to the "ON" position?
If it didn't work, you probably omitted a small detail, although there isn't much to it.

I have found it to work every time.

Turn your key past the accessory setting to the "on" postion without starting the engine. All of your dash warning lights should be on. Depress the pedal 3 times all the way to the floor and turn the key off.

This simple procedure is clearly stated in your onwer's manual. It's amazing what stuff you can find in there.

if you have floor mats they may be limiting the travel of the pedal - try removing them and see if it works.

I read somewhere you need to have the driver's door closed to do the reset.

Can't say if that is a fact or not but......
