Default Dash not showing indication of being in 4 wheel low

Strange thing going on with mine not showing that it’s in 4 low. I just installed a spartan locker in the front and when testing I put it in 4 low and took it through the back yard. Not five feet in the abs, traction control and all other lights indicating wheel speed sensor came on. I read the code and cleared it, my question is this- what tells the computer that it’s in 4 low? I would thing there’s some kind of end switch that the shifter hits or a sensor that tells it that it’s in low but I haven’t found it.

Ps- wheel speed sensors are new, and they work without issue in two wheel on the road. I know it used to shut all that stuff down when in four low before but that failed a while ago and I wanna fix it now.
