My jeep does not have the top on and i have half doors so someone, for some reason, stole the bolt covers off the grab handle on the passenger side dash. I work at a beach club and went just now to drop off papers, i was out of sight of the car for 10 minutes and when i leave m friend says are these suppose to be missing. Now i would have realized they were missing after school and so would my friend, but i didn't. Now weird part is, i had change, an xbox, and an unhooked up subwoofer in my truck, and all they steal were useless bolt covers that only if u had a jeep u would know how they come off. Well when i went back, the only person that was in the parking lot, was this guy who is a member and was working there for some reason, well i know for a fact that he has a white wrangler jk. The only question is why, he is a cop and there very useless. I thought someone was messing with me, but idk anyone with a jeep and they especially wouldn't know how to take them off. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could tell me what they are called, or a part number, or where to get them, or what the name of the handle is, or if they have any they could generously give me. Cause as of now it just looks ugly. This time ill glue em.

 

That sucks... some of the dirtiest sneakiest people I know are cops. I know many many more good cops but being a cop does not make you honest.

Anyway, Drake Offroad makes a replacement billet handle and even if you aren't interested in that if you post in the wanted section that you need these pieces someone may have them laying around.

I have no idea what you'd call those.

 

old skool jeepers call that the jesus bar.


when you are driving with the top and doors off, you can tell your passenger that's called the jesus bar.

they will ask you "why is it called the jesus bar?"


then you just make a very sharp left turn.



to avoid falling out, they will grab the bar and yell "JESUS!"




anyway, someone on here posted that you can hide pot behind those covers, whoever took them probably knows this.

I had someone steal the owner's manual out of mine when the top was off, so there are definitely some not so nice JK owners out there, never had anything like that happen with my other jeeps.
