Addition from a reply I wrote a little further down the page:
Wouldn't be a thread on the JK forum without the smart a$$ replies. I guess I need to dummy down my problem. During the colder weather, the abs, esp, and traction control light all come on at the same time, and stay on. When this happens, the cruise control does not work. I don't know if it is effecting any other components. This is not an isolated problem with each component. The seat belt and low tire pressure have nothing to do with it. The lights turn off once I drive for a bit and shut down then restart the vehicle. This is a problem I've had since last winter and the dealer said they fixed it when I brought it in during the summer. It seems to me that if you don't tell the Jeep service center how to fix the problem, it will never get done. So what I'm asking for is if anyone else has had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it?

Do you have any suspension mods?

Is your steering wheel strait?

Do you have cruise control and does it work?

No suspension mods. Cruise control does not work when these three lights are on. They go off after I turn off the jeep after driving for a while.

You have a low tire, your seat belt is not fastened, traction control is off and your ABS has a malfunction.

Well, I'd have the dealer check the wheel sensors. If one isn't working, the cruise control, ABS and traction control won't work properly because the computer can't "see" how fast you are going. If the wheel sensors are fine then it will be the dynamic sensor (located under the center console). The lights on (except the seat belt light) mean the Electronic Stability Program is off.

You need to read the manual again.

Check to see if one of your wheel sensor wires is not damaged. Mine did that once and it was a wire grounding out by the swaylink, it got pinched.

i have that same tire light but that is because my rims have no sensor. I now the ESP light could be on due to your electric sway or something in that nature. The other light if you go to autozone they will give you the computer to use so that you can see what is going on that would cause that light to go on...

I know what all the lights mean...but they are all coming on NOT because of isolated problems. They come on together...they go off together. The lights DO NOT stay on. The only come on when I start it up cold. The tire light is just because of the change in weather and the tires have lower psi when its cold, due to the fact that cold air contracts while warm air expands. Maybe I need to post a picture after the tires warm up and I put my seatbelt on. I wish I could post the smiley face banging his head against the wall when I post from the JK forum mobile app.
