Daylight Activation
This is just some information for those who are interested... 
A while ago i spoke with Chrysler Switzerland because i wanted to activate the built in day light feature. Yesterday this was done...
As it is, there are presets for country specifics already built in. Most countries favor 100% daylights for the front and back lights with a few exeptions.
When activated it works as follows.
Key in ignition an starting the engine. No lights.
Only when the gear (automatic transmission) is changed from the parking position do the lights go on. When the parking brake is pulled and/or the gear is put back to the parking position do the lights go off again.
The high beam can only be temporarly used to signal something but can be made permanent when the lights are activated with the standard light switch.
As it is Chrysler does not normaly support changing any kind of features because the modells are registered with specific features. But citing that the federal government recommends the use of day lights for security reasons helpded to convince them...
