When did you switch out the battery? It sounds like your battery is toast from the clicking sound your making, but then again it could be the starter or maybe your alternator is not charging the battery. Find out what kind of volts your battery currently has, if it pushing 12+ you can rule out the battery.

Sounds to me like the starter or solenoid. Fast clicking the solenoid is not kicking the starter gear out.

No when you get that fast clicking its usually the solenoid not getting enough juice to stay open so it continues to try, hence the clicking. Check for voltage at the battery. That doesn't always mean its good because you can have a shorted battery which could happen easily if you offroad your rig at all. Then check your grounds. Make sure you have no loose wiring. Another way you can fairly easily check the battery or charging issue is jump start it from another vehicle. If it starts then it's either a battery issue, charging issue, or bad connection at the terminals.

You want to check battery voltage when it has a load on it(when cranking or trying to crank). tap the starter solenoid see if it brakes free if nothing else works.

The battery I just changed about a month ago.. With a die hard.... It defiantly has enough power.... I checked the grounds... Starter and alternator ... Everything is in all working order .. Even had the starter tested... No faults found...

2 keys. Same situation with both? "Clicking" is usually either not enough juice to the starter or starter solenoid.

Yep on both keys... A mechanic I was just talking to told me.. That there is a starter override switch in the steering colum which prevents u to overstart the vehicle . Which could also be causing the problem...

I wrote this response in another similar post after I had researched this problem extensively:

This problem is very common and well documented. Likely a bad engine/transmission ground. My 07 had this problem and I added a 4ga cable from battery negative to alternator bracket. Fixed the issue. Could also be a transmission range sensor, but ground cable will probably fix it. Take a look at your current engine ground strap and you will realize how rinky dink it is......
