Dent in the bumper

I have 2 dents. I assume both from being hit in a parking lot. One in the back and the other on the front.

I have wondered what the bumper looks like underneath. If you have a picture of yours pm to me. I am considering taking my plastic off but not that good of modifying anything.

Upgrading doesn't have to be expensive. My front bumper also got caved in after wheeling, so I bought a 4 foot section of 6" C channel, cut it to shape, drill the mounting holes, and Line X'd it for less than $100. Now that joker is tough as nails.

Oh, the shackle mounts were an extra $100 from PJ.

Looks like I need to pick up some C channel, and did you buy shackle mounts?

any good writeups on how to turn the stock bumper into a stubby like that. I would search but I have dial up and it takes me like half an hour just to read this thread

Well I got the dent out with a hair dryer and I drilled a hole in the back and used a 3/8 extention to push the dent out.
Thanks and like KAT I will be looking for a real bumper as soon as lift and tires are done

The hair dryer works by itelf if one is patient. No need to drill holes but if you do, I'd used the back to that then you can patch it up without seeing it.
