Default Difference in gears, 3.21-3.73-4.10

If the drive train on our 2013's is the same in the Sport, what is the difference in having these gears?

Does the 4.10 run at a higher RPM on the highway than the 3.21's? I am at 2100 at 70 MPH.

Do you run differently in the 3.73 or 4.10?

Seems the 4.10's would be about 2500.........?

Your question is a little confusing. But the rpms with 32's on 2012-13's at 70mph would be about:

3.21=2000
3.73=2250
4.10=2500

Looking at your signature there's no way your turning 2100rpm at 70mph in top gear. Have you corrected your speedo?

If memory serves me - when I run at 70 mph, measured not speedo, I am at about 2500 RPM. This is based on 35's with 6 speed manual and 4:10 gears.
Basically as has been stated - 3:21 with any tire size would be lower rpm at any speed then the same vehicle with 3:73 or 4:10.

There's more factors here,tire size,lift,auto,stick will play out as to what gear type you need.You want to pick a gear that brings you back to stock rpm's

Okay, so here is what I know:

I lost 400 rpm when I went to 35's, from 2100 to 1700 now in OD locked up at 70.

This is with the Procal set for the tires.

I am still getting 19 mpg on the highway and we shall see what it is in town next week.

Still has some power and can pass easily at any speed.

Really thought about regearing, but being inn Florida and flat, not going to, not necessary.

Thanks all.
