Default Differences in stock North American : European Models

Is there is anything officially documented online with the differences between North American and European stock JK's? I'm noticing a lot of random things about my JK here in the middle east that are not the same as the ones in North America...

I am pretty sure that the bumpers front and back are different than U.S. Bumpers. They are lower and are full wrap around. They look kinda dorky, but apparently protect the Jeep's front end better and also are safer for all those pedestrians they run over in Europe...

Its true, the bumpers are quite hideous, I'll take some pics to show the forum. Here are some of the differences I've noticed so far (please note I THINK these are different from North American models but in some cases I could be wrong):

Front Bumper
Full coverage with no gaps between fender and bumper, approx. 2x as deep as standard American model, Fog lights are mounted on the outer edges of the bumper (vs. in the middle), has no tow hooks

Rear Bumper
Basically similar but incorporates reflectors on the bottom and a horrible molded in license plate mount in the center bottom to accommodate the giant euro styled plates. American license plate position has a plastic piece covering mounting holes.

Lighting
The stock headlights/wiring are Hella H4's and the fender lights do flash with signals stock. The fender lights also stick out from the fenders approx. 1 inch.

Cigarette Lighters
One will work to power electronics (the one on the right) but the other one does not power up anything, it only works for the cigarette heater (as shown on the label)

Sahara Model
Although I have a 'Sahara' it appears the only difference is the body matched fenders. Stereo is stock, speakers are paper, seats are same as sport version

120km/hr chime
When you hit 120 km/hr an annoying chime keeps going off telling you you're overspeed

No trail rated badges are seen on jeeps here...I guess the massive bumpers change the trail rating to not applicable?

I'd love to see an official list...I bet there are lots more differences...

There are differences in lighting for sure. Euro models have side to side adjustments in the headlight housing. Also Euros have raised side-marker lenses (repeaters).

and in Europe you can get a CRD; and if your auto tranny overheats, they put a aux cooler on it instead of a crappy hotoil idiot light and chime. But I'm not bitter!

Yeah bumpers front & rear are different to accomodate the wide Euro-style licence plates (with intergrated fog-lamps front & rear), side markers on the front flares flash, steering wheel is on the other side sometimes. Also, bone stock models come with aircon, power windows/locks & 32" tires, and of course (not rubbing it in) we have the optiion of a turbo-charged common-rail diesel with a 5 speed auto trans. Also where I am, the "change oil" message illuminates every 12K km/7500 miles (which is the specified service interval here) and not (in the case of US JKs) when the computer calculates that the oil really needs to be changed according to real-world driving.

Oh yeah, and we pay twice as much to buy the Jeep & 4 times as much for genuine or aftermarket parts and accessories as you guys in the 'States do!

add in headlight adjust switch and no 110v inverter. no daylight running lights, Red brake lights and amber indicator lights.

Can't think of much else that has not already been covered
