Different Experiences/Different Dealerships
I recently purchased 2 new Jeeps, one a Cherokee, the other a Wrangler. Both are 2014's. The first was the Cherokee which I bought the end of Nov.
Because of mechanical issues I have had it in my possession a total of 4 days. The remainder of this time it has been at the dealership. It has been a nightmare. The dealership experience has been terrible. So bad, Chrysler got involved and has done a buy-back. In fairness to the dealership, it wasn't their fault the vehicle had issues. Their fault was in the manner in which they handled those issues.
The second Jeep, the Wrangler, was bought at another dealership, Nyle Maxwell Jeep in Austin, Texas. The total buying experience has been fantastic. From the salesman, the Sales Manager, and the Service Dept. everything has been great. (the service department added remote start) Great customer service.
Most of the time I read threads where the dealerships are getting hammered, well the whole point of this story is to give "kudos" to a great dealership, Nyle Maxwell Jeep, here in Austin.
