Yes the solid covers are VERY well built and fully functional. I run them and many of my friends do as well. They are pretty much indestructible.

I got those solid covers as well, great cover and pretty cheap compared to the rest. Just had to grind a little bit so they wouldnt interfere with the lockers in my rubicon.

Lube lockers 15ft/lbs then 25ft/lbs no broken bolts and no leaks for 1 year.

Question

Changed the oil in my diffs yesterday and installed new lube lockers. Hand tightened the bolts and filled and noticed a very minor leak. Re torqued everything and cleaned up. Went out this morning and noticed very minor leaking on the bottom of the covers(very little oil but its there). I cleaned the crap out of the covers last night before finishing to make sure, Now have oil again. Anyone else have this problem with lube lockers? I have the bolts as tight as i can do by hand, but don't want to sheer them off tightening again.

So what do you mean "by hand", you still use a ratchet wrench or something, right ? sounds to me like you need to torque them to at least 25ft/lb like other members mention.

Good luck

Just did mine recently with lube lockers and torqued to 25 ft-lbs. No problems. You should definitely check them with a torque wrench.
