Default Difficulty To Swap Tops?

Going camping tomorrow, considering taking off the hard top and putting on the soft top.

How long does this usually take you guys to do?

If this is the first time you are using the soft top, expect it to take a few hours. Your are going to go slow making sure everything is attached properly, and then the top is going to seem like it is one size to small, and some of the windows can make you question your sanity. Park in the sun, the top will expand to a usable size, take your time, be sure everything is in it's proper position, and it will go on with surprising ease. It will just take a little time the first try.

And make sure you take off the little rubber caps that are on the ends of the middle cross bar. I didn't and the soft top wouldn't properly attach at the front door..After it came off by accident, it worked fine..

Hi thanks for this tip ;-)
I must admit that I found the plastic caps a bit awkward ... now that I removed them it is much easier LOL

Little rubber caps? Huh? I need pictures please.

First time, an afternoon, and a lot of swearing. Yetibear is right. Parking in the sun will save you a lot of headaches.

Second and subsequent times - about forty-five minutes - start to finish and clean up. I like to pack my hard top though. And I'm not the biggest person so some stuff takes me longer.
